Not buying crap doesn’t have to cost a fortune. It’s really a matter of buying less and making smarter choices. Invest where it makes sense – budget when it doesn’t. High/Low is the cornerstone of my philosophy. A space is well served when it is comprised of something found at a thrift store, a piece resurrected from a grandparents basement and a beautiful hand crafted piece that may be an investment.
This isn’t about instant gratification it’s about carefully curating the objects you choose, the space you live in, and an approach to living.
